Role: Freelance Private Chef – Middle Eastern Royal Family (Villa, Normandy)

Location & Dates
A distinguished Middle Eastern royal family is seeking an experienced Freelance Private Chef for a fully staffed private villa just outside Deauville, Normandy, France. This is a fixed appointment from 17 – 24 July 2026, providing full culinary service on site.

You will oversee and execute daily breakfast, lunch and dinner for the principal and accompanying family/guests, delivering refined, flavour-forward cuisine with a strong Mediterranean and Middle Eastern influence alongside international favourites. Menus must be thoughtful, seasonally led and beautifully presented, with a focus on fresh local French produce.

Across this week in Normandy, you will be responsible for the complete culinary journey: planning and discussing menus in line with the family’s preferences, sourcing premium ingredients locally, preparing and cooking all meals, and ensuring an impeccably clean and organised kitchen at all times. You will work hands-on and independently, coordinating timings with household staff and adapting swiftly to any last-minute changes.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and execute bespoke breakfast, lunch and dinner menus each day, aligned with the royal client’s cultural background, tastes and dietary preferences
- Prepare a variety of balanced, flavourful dishes with an emphasis on fresh, seasonal French produce and Middle Eastern/Mediterranean influences
- Strictly exclude pork and pork products from all menus, while maintaining high cultural awareness around ingredient selection and preparation
- Manage all ingredient sourcing, including shopping at local markets and suppliers, ensuring premium quality and correct storage of all food items
- Cook and plate all dishes to a consistently high standard, coordinating service times with household staff and adapting to any schedule changes
- Maintain a spotless, well-organised kitchen environment, ensuring daily cleaning, full mise en place and adherence to food safety and hygiene standards
- Monitor stock levels, minimise waste and manage budget-conscious purchasing without compromising on quality
- Communicate clearly and discreetly with the principal, family, PA and/or villa staff to confirm preferences, timing and any last-minute requests
- Accommodate any special dietary needs or simple requests from children or guests while keeping menus cohesive and elegant
- Represent mymuybueno professionally at all times, upholding confidentiality, discretion and the highest standards of conduct on and off duty

Skills & Experience

- Proven experience as a Private Chef for UHNW, royal or elite clientele, ideally including Middle Eastern families
- Strong repertoire of Mediterranean, Middle Eastern and international dishes, with the ability to tailor cuisine to refined but family-style villa dining
- Clear understanding of cultural sensitivities: no pork on any menu; respectful handling of ingredients (not Halal-specific but culturally aware)
- Availability in person in Normandy (near Deauville) for the full period 17 – 24 July 2026, including breakfast, lunch and dinner service each day
- Ability to independently plan, cost and execute daily menus, including last-minute changes, with minimal supervision
- Excellent knowledge of French and local seasonal produce, and confidence in shopping/sourcing at markets and quality suppliers
- Immaculate kitchen hygiene, food safety and organisation, with relevant food handling certification(s)
- Discreet, professional demeanour with excellent communication skills and a calm, solution-focused attitude under pressure
- Fluent or strong working English; French language skills highly advantageous
- Legal right to work in France/EU or valid status to work on a freelance basis for the duration of the booking
